In this Episode of Mentoring for the Modern Musician the boys are beyond excited to sit down and chat with JAIME CEPERO! Jaime swiftly became a fan favorite for his portrayal of Ellis Boyd, the prickly assistant with an all-about-eve-streak, on NBC’s musical drama SMASH from executive producer Steven Spielberg. Other film and television credits include MESS HereTV/Amazon, I AM MICHAEL starring James Franco, DATING MY MOTHER, DADDY, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, and JESS from Comedy Central's Dan Hurwitz. As a composer his music has been featured all over the New York night life scene, from uptown cabaret the likes of Birdland - to downtown venues like Joe’s Pub at The Public. He actively strives to use his voice for the promotion of human rights and political activism, recently receiving critical acclaim for his performance as CLAUDE in the 50th anniversary staging of HAIR at Tony Award winning Dallas Theater Center. Jaime makes his off-Broadway debut this January starring as BEN in the new musical comedy NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at the Kirk Theater.
